Australian States & Territories have replaced (or are in the process of replacing) their Occupational Health & Safety (OHS) legislation with the nationally modelled Work Health & Safety (WHS) Act 2012.

In the new Act, an 'Employer' is referred to as PCBU ( Person Conducting a Business or Undertaking) and an 'Employee' as a Worker. The Material Safety Data Sheets (MSDS) are now Safety Data Sheets (SDS) in order to cover not just materials but all aspects of safety.
